Deforestation Is Bad

 For the past couple of days we have been making a poster about deforestation. Let me tell you a little bit about deforestation. 1. It can start is many many many ways, it can start in a fire some times we start it for our things in life. You should start caring because when you kill trees  you are also killing oxygen. What would you feel like if you favourite animal was extinct? So please start caring about trees and animals. Here is my D.L.O.  

Ida

 two sisters who were completely different  May was sporty and Ida was not Ida was shy.  Yesterday we read a book called Red balls. One day Ida got sick of may and through her ball across the park. And then a magical fairy came and said if you say these words then your sister will disaperd forever. She said the words. And then they were taken to where all the fairy's were. There are three Mays Ida had to tell them apart.  She picked the right one and they went back to normal. And Ida never got mad at May again.  Now for the task we had to pick a charter and write about there personalty. Here is my.  

Slang

Yesterday we had some word slang and we had sorta translate it into a proper sentence. Some of it was really hard. here is my. 

NO TRESPASSING

 Today I made a sign about no trespassing. You should not trespass or go on to others property. You should know your boundaries. Where you should go and where you shouldn't go. So choose the right choice and go where you should go. Anyway here is my poster.

Why cats should be allowed to go outside

 We have been writing reasons why cats should be allowed outside or inside.  I picked outside, there were not really any hard parts it was all really easy.  Anyways here is my writing. I hope you enjoy and now here is my writing. 

I strongly believe that cats should be allowed to go outside. And here are 4 paragraphs why. And I hope that after you see all my reasons you will think so too. 

Firstly they need their freedom to roam around.  Because if they are inside it will feel like a prison.  There will be a high chance that they will break something. And when they break something that is not their fault it is yours for keeping them inside. 

Secondly  not all cats murder birds or native animals. So the ones that don’t murder birds will be punished because they will have to stay inside. That  is just croll to them.  I’m not saying the ones that catch birds should be the only ones that should be kept inside. 

Lastly If you keep them inside they might not use the kitty litter. And you do not want to come home. And have to clean up after them especially after a long day at work. The smell will smell horrible. It would reek like a swamp. 

After you have seen all my reasons why cats should be allowed outside. I hope you have changed your mind. And if you were not sure I hope I made you let them go outside.

Kids under the age of 12 should not be playing video games.

Yesterday I started on a persuasive writing for why kids under the age of 12 should not be playing video games.  I am going to show you the writing that I did. I think kids under the age of twelve should not be playing video games. Here is my writing.

 I think that kids under the age of 12 should not be allowed to be playing video games. Kids under the age of 12 should not be playing video games here are some reasons why. 

Firstly, there is violence in these games. Like maybe there is cutting people or murdering people. We don’t want little kids seeing that. 

Secondly, the language in some video games has swearing. The swearing in the games could encourage some kids to use it in their everyday life.  Some are so bad that some kids don’t know what it means and they say it anyway. 

Thirdly what will they see in the games? Yes they will see the violence but what else do they see. They might see some inappropriate images that they should not be seeing at all what so ever. 

So now you have seen all of my reasons for why kids under the age of 12 should not be playing any video games. With either violence,bad language or  inappropriate scenes.  I hope you will change your mind.

Calendar Art

So for the last couple weeks we have been making calendars. My favourite bit was painting with water colours. But the hard part about that was doing the circles. We also had to cut out a picture that was a black  peace of paper and we sicked that on the circles. For some reason I can't show you what it looks like. It looks really cool.

Today in writing we did Haiku a Haiku is a  syllable that is 5 7 5 sentences. I decided for mine to be based on netball. Here is mine Haiku.

Family Game

During lockdown I decided to make a family game. What you had to do was you would have as many plastic cups as you like. and you stack it into a a tower you will also need a mini ball. And once you stack your tower you try and throw a ball in into the cup that at the top will be facing up. And that is my family game. BYE.

Today we have been searching stuff to see if some news was fake or real.  We did find some really good ways to see if it is fake or real. After we found all our ways we got to create a way to share I choose pixton.

Pick A Path Story

For the past few week my writing group we have been doing pick a path story's.  They were super fun to make but it  was kinda challenging to make. The hardest part was probably the linking.  I hope you like it.

Today in reading we had to read a book called booger boy. Its was about a boy who always picked his nose and then one day his finger got stuck and then the rest of his body got stuck. Te Reo

Today in Te Reo. We had to match the picture to the word. So what I mean there will be a word in Te Reo. And there will be a picture and we will have to match it to the right thing. And here is what I did.

Today in maths we did a slide. What we had to do in the slide we we had to go on to a app. Called Teaching clock, The teacher clock lets you change the time so I can make it say 1 o'clock. The Lighthouse Keeper.

Yesterday in writing we had to write a story. Writing the story wasn't very hard. I would tell you about the story but you are just going to have to read it. Here is the story.

One stormy dark and windy night, the old and wrinkly lighthouse keeper heard a bang. He ran straight to the light and he realised that it wasn't working but that wasn't the worst problem. The worst problem was that there was a ship coming in. 

And the driver of the ship couldn't see. The lighthouse keeper started to panic. He looked at the town and back at the ship and then back at the town and back at the ship. He didn’t know what to do.

But little did the lighthouse keeper know that the whole town came with lamps to guide the ship. When the lighthouse keeper saw them his face lit up. After they guided the ship they went home.
