Pineapple Upside Down Cake.

Yesterday my mum and me made her pineapple upside down cake. She made two of the cakes one for my dad to take to work and one for us to have at home. The one that was supposed to be for home ended up looking better so we gave my dads work that one. The reason why it is called pineapple upside down cake is because you have to put the pineapples in the bottom and when it is out of the oven you flip it over and turn it upside down it is a pineapple upside down cake. here is the recipe of how to make it

  2. Hi Havana, you and your Mum did a great job with your pineapple upside down cake. I really like pineapple so maybe I'll have to give this a go. Thank you for putting the recipe on! Do you think it will work the same if I make it with gluten free flour, instead of regular flour? Maybe your Mum might know!

  3. Hi Havana, what a delicious looking cake. I have never made an upside down cake but my aunty makes a yummy pear upside down cake. It is really nice that you sent a cake to work with your Dad. I am sure his workmates would have appreciated the effort you went to. It is a great way to say thank you to the essential workers. I really like that you posted the recipe, I think might have to try and make it when I can find more flour at the supermarket. You said that one turned out better than the other, do you have any tips to make it turn out well?
